  I had been diagnosed with bronchiectasis by the chest specialist at the hospital. It would seem that there had been some damage to my lung which would only get worse if I where to have more infections, this could lead to pneumonia and could be fatal. I checked on the Internet to see if I could find a natural way to cure  bronchiectasis and I found the following article which was of interest concerning Colloidal silver.
In this particular case, a young boy was first diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at age two, and over the ensuing nine years grew worse and worse in spite of intensive medical treatment.

Of course this article refears to Cystic Fibrosis which is a far worse condition than mine. However further studies on the internet have shown that Colloidal silver will distroy bacteria like antibiotics, but Colloidal silver will also cure virus and fungal infections. With my nails being the ways they are I am sure there is a connection between the nail infection and my lungs. So I am going to give Colloidal silver a try, without my GP's permition I will let you know what happens.

Now cracked fingertips

Following my post about the problem with my finger nails. At this time of year,ie in the cold weather, I suffer from cracked fingertips which although may seem very trivial is actually very painful. It is truly amazing how much you use your fingertips. I am using them now as I type out this post. So I went in search of natural ways to cure and heal this condition. I found that vitamin E oil may help as may Nizoral shampoo, used to wash the hands about three times per week. Also aloa vera oil may help in the healing process.

Other natural treatment that I could try is tea tree oil although put straight on to the split could be a little painful. No I have just tryed it and it does not hurt. I thought that perhaps, one of my favourite healers, Manuka honey may help however it is rather an expensive way of treating the condition. Today I went to dermatology at my local hospital about the problem I have with my finger nails and toe nails. They  are similar to the image above only a little worse, nails broken and white areas covering the nail, some areas of the nail are thick with nail as if it where growing up and down rather than straight out. The senior registrar took all my details bearing in mind the problem with my chest, my stomach ulcer and hiatus hernia.
I have had this condition now for about ten years and doctors do not seem to know what it is. A fungal nail infection seems likely however it seems to be not conclusive. The senior registrar took nail and skin samples and asked me to come back.

I have tried my own methods of healing the natural way such as using Tea tree oil, vinegar, aloe vera, but I have not tried the more obscure natural healing methods such as vicks vapour rub and WD-40, not together of course If the hospital are unable to cure my nail problem then I will continue to look for natural treatment. I may even use diagnose-me.com, an online way of finding my illness. I will keep you posted about the outcome.

One simple natural cure

The media has been reporting about the importance of sunshine. Are we getting enough?. The chest infection that will not go away

As you will know I started with a chest infection around Christmas 2010, and my mucus was coloured green. I had three different antibiotics to try and clear the infection, this helped my breathing, but my mucus remained green and it is still green more than twelve months later. So does this mean I have had an infection for more than one year. I have been treating myself using natural treatment during this time using Manuka honey +5 and high doses of vitamin c. I think this is holding the infection in place but not curing it. I have had a sputum test at the hospital which confirms I have a chest infection and was given the same antibiotics that I was first given. I have not taken these.

So what do I do now?. I have been looking for a natural cure for my chest infection, and I could get the +15 dose of Manuka honey, other than that I have not found a cure. I will go back to my GP and advise them that I am not getting anywhere, and keep looking for a natural way I can treat this problem. I will keep you posted on my progress.

Why I feel great !

Yesterday I went for a foot detox, it was totally amazing. My feet where emerged in about 5cm of clear water, in a detox spa, the water was quite warm. After about 10 minutes I noticed that there was a cloudy solution coming from the centre of the spa. After about 20 minutes I noticed that the water was turning a dirty colour which resembled urine, like a dark dirty yellow. During this time I had been drinking 1litre of clear tap water. So all the toxins where coming out of my body. In total the foot detox lasted 30 minutes.

By the end of the day I felt really horrible, I felt tired and irritable, however I got one of the best nights sleep I have ever had, and the next day I felt really great, I felt that I had lots of energy I could concentrate, and my thought was quick. Its new years day and I have just been for a four mile walk,and although I feel tied my breathing is better. My weight yesterday was 11st 2ils, heavier than I have ever been, its the mnce pies I know. I should have lost a little weight today.
